Lakshya Sen surges to 13th in latest BWF Rankings

SEN MOVES FIVE PLACES TO NO. 13

Sen surged five places to move to No.13 with 64,021 points in the new list released by the BWF.

The 22-year-old Indian shutter drew strength from semifinal appearances at the French Open and the All England Open the past few weeks.

HS Prannoy (77,647 points) remains the top Indian shuttler at No. 9, while Kidambi Srikanth is at No.27. 

Priyanshu Rajawat also made it to the BWF list at No.32.

Sen is currently competing in the Swiss Open in Basel.

AXELSEN STILL TOPS LIST; SHI, GINTING IN TOP 3

Victor Axelsen of Denmark continues to dominate the men’s singles list with 98,715 points.

Shi Yuqui (90, 984) of China and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (85,101) of Indonesia are second and third, respectively.

Danish shuttler Anders Antonsen (83,594) and another Indonesian, Jonatan Christie (81,531) round out the top five.

Japanese Kodai Naraoka (81,015), Chinese Li Shifeng (77,998), Kunlavut Vitidsarn (77,948) of Thailand, Prannoy and Malaysian Lee Zii Jia (68,296) complete the top ten.
