ERROR-PRONE SINDHU FALLS TO WORLD NO.1 AN SE YOUNG

Sindu, meanwhile, fell into a maze of errors to yield a 19-21, 11-21 setback to world No.1 An Se Young of Korea.

Sindhu, who was coming off a big win over American Beiwen Zhang, could not sustain her deadly form against Se Young.

“She (Se Young) is, of course, the top player now. But I should have been much more patient,” the double Olympic medallist said.

“I made unforced errors. There were easy mistakes,” she added.
